Spox: Iran to Respond More Capably Than Ever to Any Aggression
In response to US actions in the region and the holding of military drills, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: The Islamic Republic of Iran possesses extraordinary capability for its defense and is far more prepared than in the past.
Regarding the presence of the US naval fleet in the region and Iran's response, Esmail Baqaei said: This issue is not going to affect Iran's will and seriousness in vigorously defending the essence of Iran. We have the will to defend the Iranian people; therefore, Iran's forces are carefully monitoring every development and do not miss a single second to enhance their own capabilities.Baqaei stated that deploying forces to the region and issuing threats is contrary to all international principles and norms.
